We'll go through the steps of setting up our own personal blogs using blogspot.com
5. Why blog?
Them: What is a blog? Why do people blog? How can you find blogs of interest?
Us: Why do you want to blog? What do you want your blog to do? Who is your audience?
Assignment: Look at 3-5 blogs of your choice… Why do the creators blog? What do they do on their blog? Who is their audience? Pick one blog to share with the group.
6. Homework!
a. Make at least one entry in your blog (writing, photos, video, whatever you can)
b. Check out other participant's blog entries and add your comments.
c. Keep surfing other blogs with the questions from today's assignment in mind. Pick a favourite blog to share with the group next week. Be prepared to tell the group what specifically you like about the blog.
